Semaver is a story book written by Sait Faik Abasıyanık, a well-known storyteller in Turkish literature. My collage design for this book draws inspiration from his writing style and the recurring themes in his works, particularly from the stories "Semaver" and "Stelyanos Hrisopulos Gemisi".
The aim of the workshop where I created this book jacket was to primarily use analogue found materials. Throughout the design process, I used only items from antique shops and my personal archive.
The quote on the back cover belongs to Haldun Taner (Ölürse Ten Ölür Canlar Ölesi Değil, 1983)
